Those first weeks are tender, emotional and kind of magical. And let's be honest a little confusing and terrifying.

You’re living in mesh underwear and maxipads (so glamorous). You’re bracing yourself for that first poop. And if you had a C-section, every sneeze sends you into a full-body clench, because all you can picture is your scar ripping open. Then there’s the advice.

One person says stay in bed for six weeks. Someone on Instagram is doing a workout at week three. Your nurse at the hospital said "take it easy Mama."

Cool, but what does that actually mean on day 8?

So you either do too much, or you do nothing at all because you're scared of doing the wrong thing. Oh and you are sleep deprived and have 83 other things on your mind.

>>> The first 30 days aren't about getting back to anything. They're about doing less, healing, relearning how to move now that baby isn't taking up space inside you, and laying the foundation for everything that comes next.

This schedule isn't a challenge. There's no before-and-after photo. Just direction, permission and real support in a season most of us are left to figure out alone.

Inside the First 30-Day Recovery Schedule, you’ll find:

How am I supposed to slow down with a newborn?

I know what you're thinking. Anna, I just had a baby. When exactly am I supposed to focus on me?

Fair question. This isn't about doing more. It's about doing less, with more intention.

You are not trying to carve out hours. Just a few small moments between feeds, naps and the general chaos.

Slowing down on purpose lets you:

  • Honour what your body just did, and give it room to heal
  • Bond with your little one(s) while you're both learning on the job
  • Build habits that carry you through the rest of your first year
  • Feel cared for in the middle of the chaos, because you count too.

This schedule is a great fit if you:

  • Are in your final weeks of pregnancy and want a plan ready before baby arrives
  • Are newly postpartum and wondering, "What am I actually supposed to be doing right now?"
  • Had a C-section and want gentle guidance for your recovery
  • Want to move your body, but also want to respect the healing
  • Have been drowning in conflicting advice online
  • Don't want to rush, but don't want to feel stuck either
  • Want structure that bends when baby has other plans

Check in with your healthcare provider first if you:

  • Had complications during birth, or have been advised to limit movement
  • Have symptoms that haven't been assessed, like pain, leaking or heaviness

You don't need to do everything right. You just need somewhere supportive to start.

"It was something easy to follow and not every day was a workout which I find can be hard when managing multiple kids and their schedules. Love that the exercises had videos linked to them and it also had some modifications or things to do for c-section vs vaginal births."
